BABY LOVE

The Baby Love program is a free telephonic program available to Lovelace Salud! members from the beginning of pregnancy through the first few months of the new baby's life. Baby Love is a team effort that includes the mother-to-be, her health care provider, and a maternity consultant available to answer questions 24 hours a day/7 days a week. We encourage mothers-to-be to join the Baby Love program as soon as they become Lovelace Salud! members.

FREE CAR SEAT

Lovelace Salud! values our mothers-to-be. We will send a special care package especially for the mother-to-be. This package includes a handbook with important health information for her and the baby, information on the free infant car seat program, and other very special items. By participating in the Baby Love program and receiving the recommended number of prenatal visits, Lovelace Salud! will provide you with a free infant car seat. After your baby has arrived, our Baby Love program will provide you with a package including health care tips, a free digital thermometer, and information on how to receive your free toddler car seat.

LOVELACE WOMEN'S HOSPITAL IS NEW MEXICO'S ONLY HOSPITAL DEVOTED TO WOMEN'S HEALTH.

The Family Birthing Center at Lovelace Women's Hospital brings more than 3,600 babies into the world each year with the help of dedicated obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, obstetrical anesthesiologists, neonatologists, perinatologists and a highly skilled nursing team. We offer a full calendar of childbirth classes, breast feeding services and parenting programs, including maternity care classes, prematurity prevention, Baby Care Basics and parenting classes. During labor, delivery and recovery new mothers stay in one of our comfortable, private birthing rooms. Equipped with the latest technology, each room is designed for a relaxed, comfortable birth experience and includes a private bathroom, telephone and television. After delivery, our staff will coach you on breast feeding techniques and provide you with comprehensive educational materials. We also offer prenatal assessment, antepartum testing and 24/7 maternal-fetal medicine coverage.
